Praise & Prayer

Praise and prayer

Praise

  • For Charlotte Bard’s arrival to begin transitioning into our elementary principal position. We are so thankful that God has given us 4 months for our current elementary principal to train Charlotte, to be able to step in with confidence as she leads our elementary team and program.
  • For Ric Wiles’ (MS math and PE) successful emergency surgery last week. Join us in thanking the Lord that everything went fine as they removed kidney stones, and that he is recovering well.
  • For the 21 Days of Prayer we had for the past 3 weeks. We met every weekday from 6:35 to 7:00a and/or 3:15 to 4:45p, and averaged 15 people in each prayer meeting. We thank the Lord for this beautiful time and for all the ECA families, students, and staff who participated. Remember to keep Praying First.
  • Thank you for praying for the HS retreat! It was a positive time of sharing and growth for students and staff, and there were no major mishaps.
  • For Missions Week, during which we learned about the Muslim world. Each day we explored a pillar of Islam and heard a testimony from a missionary serving in a Muslim context. Keep praying for truth to bring hope and light to Muslims, and for many students to desire to love and serve within the Muslim world.

Prayer

  • For the 7th/8th grade students, T4:8 student leaders, and faculty while they are on their 2nd semester retreat next week Thu/Fri, Feb 27-28. We hope this experience will open the door for more student-led discipleship, as well as spiritual growth.
  • Staff Needs for 2020-21 – We are thankful for the multiple interviews and contacts we currently have for possible future teachers, and continue to pray for the following positions that need to be filled:
    • PK and elementary teachers
    • Secondary math, science, and social studies teachers
    • Learning Center/special education and a PE teacher
    • Recruiting assistant and Director of Development
