Praise
- For the many contacts Beth Afanador made during her recent recruiting trip that included stops in Ontario, Canada and seven U.S. states. She spoke in three churches, connected with students at eight Christian universities, participated in three ACSI international recruiting fairs, and planted seeds at a Christian middle school. She met with 5 alumni and over 20 former teachers/volunteers.
At the universities, she spoke in classes, met with faculty, participated in informal and formal events, and had multiple opportunities to spread the word about the opportunities and need for trained Christian staff to invest in ECA. She had countless individual interactions and was able to share over and over about the ministry at ECA. PRAY as we follow up with these many contacts, that God will draw those whom He wants to join our team at ECA.
- For the HS class retreats held on November 5. Students had a time for reconciliation, and had good conversations with their classmates and homeroom teachers. They also had lots of fun and good food.
- For the 150 parents who participated in the parent workshop on Dangers for and Self-Destructive Behavior in Kids and Teens. These topics affect our community, and the Lord calls us to work as a team.
- For the Parent Coordinating Committee (PCC) and all the strategies the members have developed to support ECA students, staff, and families. Praise the Lord for the many families who participated in the 24-hour parent prayer meeting November 5-6.

- For Paola Tobar‘s (Aide, 1st-B) mother, who recently had intestinal surgery, from which she is very slowly recovering. Pray for her body to respond well and for the family to be able to provide all the support she needs.
- For Juanita González (8th grade) as she continues to recover from her very successful knee surgery at the end of October.
- For Nelly de Burgos, Rocio Escobar de Burgos’ (Spanish teacher) mother-in-law who has been struggling with lung disease and a throat tumor.
