Praise
• We are off to a good start for our second semester of the 2017-18 school year. We are thankful for a complete teaching staff, wonderful students and families, and an air of expectancy as we begin the last phase of our construction. We have lost three students and gained two students, so we now have 305 students. We will be losing two more students in the next month, and we have several students in the admissions process, so we are still not certain what our final student count will be for this semester.
• For the $4 million pesos that ECA grandparents have donated to our construction. What a privilege to have a multi-generational team investing in ECA’s future!
• For our new student teacher Micaela Cageao, who joined us at the beginning of 2nd semester in 3rd grade, working with Hannah Anderson. Micaela will be graduating from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in May.
Prayer
• For Debbie Rogers de Urrego’s intestinal surgery this weekend (Sun, Jan 21). We’re so glad she’s back at work after her extended medical leave 1st semester, followed by her wedding in December. This should be her last surgery for this.
• For the admissions process for 2018-19. After a good admissions meeting this past week, we know many families are filling out forms and seeking God’s will for the best educational option for their children. Pray that we will have enough solid candidates for PK. We also currently have spots for 5th, and 8th-12th for the 2018-19 school year.
