The High School retreat will take place in Amigos del Campo retreat center in La Vega, Cundinamarca, with students leaving ECA after lunch on Wed, Jan 31 and returning to Bogotá Fri, Feb 2. Please note the following.
• The retreat is considered an important part of the academic curriculum. If a student is unable/unwilling to attend, s/he must talk to Mrs. Guzmán. Students will be expected to attend school on Friday and will have a significant assignment due before leaving Friday afternoon.
• Parents, if you have not done so, read, sign, and return the contract sent home on January 12 by Wed, Jan 24 to indicate your child has permission to attend the retreat.
• Costs: $100.000 until Fri, Jan 19, and $120.000 until Wed, Jan 24. After the 24th, spots are not guaranteed. Pay at the cashier’s office or by bank transfer, sending a copy of the receipt to cashier@eca.edu.co.
Student pick-up points are McDonald’s at Calle 127 and the Autopista around 5:20p and Mirandela 1 around 6:00p, and Mirandela 1 around 6:00p.
